Unus Annus has been just… nice.
The year was weird, and crazy, in a bad way.
Unus Annus was weird, and crazy, in a good way.
It provided laughs, and something to look forward to. Not just in videos, but in community. As much as I enjoyed the videos themselves, I think I enjoyed coming to Tumblr and seeing all the posts about them just as much, maybe even more.
I love the art, I love the headcanons, I love the memes, I love everything about it, and what it created.
The dynamic Mark and Ethan have is unique, and wonderful. The editors took that dynamic to a whole new level, with how they edited all of it, and they added their own amazing personalities into it as well.
The community. God, what can I even say about the community? Funny, heartfelt, creative as hell…
My brother and I have over the past few months developed a habit of “Hey, did you watch today’s video? What did you think?” It’s been a bonding thing, and it’s been wonderful.
It’s all been wonderful.
And even though I hate change, and impermanence, and the idea of things going away forever… I don’t regret a moment.
I don’t regret a single moment of loving this channel. It’s all been worth it.
